An epitope, also known as antigenic determinant, is the part of an antigen that is recognized by the immune system, specifically by antibodies, B cells, or T cells. For example, the epitope is the specific piece of the antigen to which an antibody binds. - Wiki - Because the amount of Labeled X bound is unchanged by the addition of Y- they are independent of each other i.e. share no epitopes




For completeness sake, could someone explain the other wrong answer choices in graph form? I can easily visualize the right answer but for some reason can't picture the other choices
